That's amazing you almost quoted the Sunset Western Garden book word for word. Cloves pointed end up 1 in. deep. 3-6 in. apart and rows 15 in. apart. It's looks really simple I'm going to plant garlic next year. I often cook garlic with eggs, hash browns and sausages

Hi, I just put my kitchen scraps in a hole in the back yard behind the tree. I have a roto-tiller that I till leaves and scraps together and keep it watered a bit... Seems to work. Never smells and breaks down normally with live worms being worm happy. Am I doing okay with composting?
